The Ask: Create a commemorative cookbook for Kikkoman’s Jefferson grand opening that celebrated the brand’s history, food and craftsmanship without feeling like corporate collateral.
The Idea: Treat it like a real cookbook first — warm, editorial and food-led — with Kikkoman’s identity expressed through subtle details rather than heavy branding.
What We Made: A complete editorial design system for the commemorative cookbook, including typography, photography treatments, iconography, page frameworks and reusable InDesign templates for the full book.
Why It Worked: The system gave the book a premium, cohesive feel while remaining flexible enough to support heritage storytelling, product content and recipe pages.
